Why we created this trip
We did not simply want to show you the red oasis. We wanted to take the time to meet the people who live there, to understand the villages and the water-sharing systems, to cook in a guesthouse, to reach the Petit Tassili by 4x4 and to end some days around a shared table or a shared song. Timimoun is discovered through its landscapes, but above all through the gestures and the people who keep them alive.

The Faoun cliff, its ksar and its cave, a picnic lunch, then the villages of Ouled Saïd and Aghlad and the water-sharing system. A méchoui with a local family and a traditional music evening.
Day 4Cooking and the Petit TassiliA cooking workshop in a guesthouse garden
A cooking workshop in a guesthouse garden, lunch with a local family, then a 4x4 excursion to the Petit Tassili and sunset. Back to Timimoun for dinner and a music evening.
Day 5Old ksar and departureA walking discovery of the old ksar and the market
A walking discovery of the old ksar and the market, free time, a light lunch, then transfer to the airport for the return flight via Algiers.
