Why we created this trip

We created this route to tell the gradual passage from the North to the Sahara. Algiers, Boussaâda, the M'Zab, El Menia and Timimoun are not a simple sequence of stages: they show how the landscapes, the architecture, the cooking and the ways of living change along the road. The workshops, the encounters, the bivouac and the 4x4 give this crossing a lived dimension that a purely scenic circuit cannot offer.

A long drive to the M'Zab valley, the first desert landscapes, check-in and rest. Night in Ghardaia.
